Message Users

Upload.com Merchant Services allows you to automatically email your trial users at two key interaction points: after initial trial registration and right before the trial expires.

• Easily add user messaging functionality from the Upload.com self-service interface
• Write your own messages and change them at any time
• Select when each message is sent to your users

Communication with your trial users can have a significant impact on conversion from trial to sale. To get the most out of this feature, we recommend that you include the following points in your messages:

Registration confirmation email

• Thank users for trying your product
• Remind them of the length of the trial period
• Outline your product's features, benefits, and value for the price
• Provide them with a purchase URL

Purchase reminder email

• Tell users how many days/uses/minutes are left of their free trial
• Remind them of your product's features, benefits, and value for the price
• Provide them with contact information to send questions about product
• Provide them with a purchase page URL

To sign up for Merchant Services and begin receiving monthly checks, log in to your Upload.com account and click the 'Configure' link next to the appropriate product in the upload manager.
