Invalid Serial Number Message

An "Invalid Serial Number" message appears when the serial number provided is not valid. The end user will be given an opportunity to re-enter the serial number and re-try the installation so the serial number should be double-checked for errors. The letter i can easily be mistaken for the number 1 (one) or a lower case L, and zero can just as easily be mistaken for the letter O. The best way to avoid entering an invalid serial number is to copy/paste it into the appropriate dialog box, rather than typing it character by character.
