The Try&Buy configuration provides publishers with a simple, cost-effective method for converting trials to licensed product sales for only 8%-12% of gross product sales revenue. It has been specifically designed for publishers that:

• Have a product to distribute and sell online; and
• Need a trial version of the product; and
• Need e-commerce capabilities to convert trials to sales; and
• Already have a copy protection system to protect the fully licensed product

The Try&Buy configuration comes complete with all of the standard payment processing features as the other configurations and offers these core benefits:

• Collect registration data before trial activation for better understanding of your customer base
• Controls the length of your trial period based on your specifications
• Set up automated communication with your customers during and after their trial period
• Use your own pre-generated serial numbers or have serial numbers generated for you
• Convert trial users into paying customers through a simple branded purchase process
• Reduce business risk by outsourcing fraud, refund, and chargeback processing
• Improve sales conversion by accepting over 50 global payment types
• Increase purchases by linking to a customized and branded payment page from anywhere your product is sold online

• Follow the step-by-step instructions on Upload.com to enable your product
• We then provide a hosted, custom payment page that processes purchase transactions to let you sell the full version of your product
• We accommodate a variety of fulfillment options, including serial number distribution and electronic software delivery
• Customers can purchase the full product directly through the trial version
• You receive real-time purchase confirmations allowing you to generate unlock codes or complete other post-purchase fulfillment processes as necessary
• Each month, you will receive a check for all sales revenue less the Merchant Services fee

To sign up for Merchant Services, log in to your Upload.com account, and click the 'Sign Up Now' link next to the appropriate product. If you are new to Upload.com, you will first need to register and then add a product to our library by purchasing a listing package.
